I am looking for a 91-96 C4. I own an 84 curently and will be selling it upon completion of a new purchase so if you know anyone looking for a white 84 in VGC please let me know. I have a blank check from peoplefirst for $16000 in hand now and am serious about buying. If you have a 91-96 please let me know and show me some pics. I live in Connecticut but am not opposed to buying out of the area. I'm not looking to waste time as i am ready to buy. Also i want a turnkey vette, not looking to do any work on it other than drive it till the smile falls off my face :cheers:

Well Robert, I'm not selling, but I saw a White 92 convertible with white top and black/white interior(black carpet,white seats and door panels) with 55,000 miles for $17,000.

Seats are a little wore out, but the car appears to be in pretty decent shape.

If you are interested I can take a closer look for you, I'm sure you can wheel and deal and get his price down.

I've got a 92 convertible with 70k miles in really good shape that's white with red interior/ LT1 engine with 700R4 automatic tranny/ $2500.00 new alpine stereo system with polk speakers and 12 disc cd changer, 200 watt amp and monster cable wiring kit with 100 watt capacitor and the detachable face head unit plays cassettes as well. No offense but I think that's a little more than you will actually get. I have seen a bunch of Vettes (including verts) with 30-40k miles for under $20k. I don't see you getting more than $16-$18k for a '95 with that many miles.

None taken. Check out cars.com, carpoint.com, autotrader.com and look up anywhere from 94-96 verts within 30 miles of the zip code 22191. I think this forum is the main place that is driving down the value of C4s :nonod:

I have a 34-record spreadsheet tracking prices of 91-96 Corvettes over the last month from all sorts of sources, including cars.com, autotrader, eBay, getauto.com, Yahoo, and other print ads. Some are DC metro area but most are nationwide. Let me know if you'd like to see it.

Thanks for the offer but it wouldn't actually represent a real world point of view in my situation. Cars vary in price tremendously from place to place. The best way to assess what your car is actually worth is to see what people are paying for them locally so that is what I did. Also factored in my decision was the fact that I owe about 21k on the car ;) With the mods I have in it: aftermarket stereo, gs wheels, etc I think it is well worth it. I know, I know people don't pay for aftermarket stuff you do to your car and sometimes it drops the value yada yada yada...... The person who buys my car will want the mods I have done and be willing to pay a little more for them and trust me there is somebody out there who will fall in love with my car. And who knows, if somebody came along with 20k tomorrow, I might take it but you are waaayyyy off with 16k :cheers:
