1994 Arctic White 6spd coupe
I decided to sell my clean Arctic White coupe. It has 78,600 miles on it. I've added new rims and tires (285/40r17 Nitto 555's up front and 315/35r17 Nitto 555's on the back). I'd have to double check but I don't think there's more then a 1000 miles on them. I put on new drilled and slotted rotors with new pads. I added Earl's braided brake hoses and put in new dot4 fluid. I installed the Rippie bias spring in the master cylinder too. I put on new Bilstein sport shocks with poly bushings. I added a VB&P 32mm front sway bar with poly bushings. I put in a Hurst shifter (love it). I put on the muffler eliminater kit from Corvette Central. I just put new MSD plug wires and new NGK TR55 plugs. I cut the air cleaner lid. I also put in the skip shift elim. Two weeks ago I changed the tranny fluid with Amsoil synchro mesh and I changed the rear diff with Royal Purple. I did the throttle body coolant by pass. I changed the headlight bushings in both headlight motors. I've prob forgot a few things.
The car has grey interior that is in very good shape. No tears in the seats. They show a little wear for the miles but they are still very nice. The car runs great and doesn't seem to use any oil (oh...I changed the oil a few months ago too). I'm going to try and figure out the picture thing. I have more pics too if anyone is interested I can e-mail them. $10,500 obo. THANKS!!!!!!

How long have you had it? Why are you selling? Any mechanical/electrical issues that someone would need/want to take care of? From what I see that sells cars is that the more info you provide, the more hits you get. I'm not saying anything about your price, cause I'm baffled as to what a c4 price should be, but I will say I've seen much cleaner interiors for about the same price. I think at the 10,500 range, people are expecting to see almost flawless vehicle, right or wrong, that is what I notice. I think you have a nice car, and if my son were ready to purchase, we would be calling you about it. He's about 6 months away from having the cash. Be patient, and unless you absolutely need the cash, don't be too quick to lower price. Oh, yeah, don't be afraid to take pictures and share the flaws....there's nothing like being upfront to gain a buyers trust. Good luck with sale.

Sounds like I need more info. I've had the car since last November. I don't think it should matter how long a person has owned their car, some people just get bored easy. It's a great car and I'm not selling it because it's a junker that needs a bunch of work I'm selling because I sold my boat and have some extra cash in my pocket and decided I wanted to get a C5 instead. Thats all. The car itself is very clean (I think) for its age. There are a few small dings in the paint...the paint is nice and shinny! The rubber crap that GM decided to put on the center console plastic has came off in a couple small spots. There is a small hole worn in the shift boot (I plan on buying a new one). The drivers side floor mat is a little dirty...I can take pics of anything someone wants to see. As far as the price....they ARE all over the place. Just because some guy got a 96 LT4 for $3000 doesn't mean our cars are not valuable it just means that guy got lucky and got a great deal. I wasn't sure where to price my car....so I just picked $10.5. I figure you have to start high and go down if needed. I kinda thought I would get some offers and then I could adjust the price accordingly. It's a great car and someone would be happy with it!! I'll try and get some more pics up. Thanks!!!

Now you've got the idea; keep dropping the price until somebody pounces. I'm in the process of doing that right now with both my Corvette '94 'vert and an '09 Lexus. Both have dropped well below what I thought they were worth (and in the case of the Lexus what dealers are asking) but there's nothing to do but keep lowering the price every week.
I guess the sad state of the economy has something to do with it.
