For Sale 1986 Coupe - $5500
PRICE: $5500
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia
Edit - June 16, 2012 - My sale fell through, so the car is back on the market. In addition it has just been inspected (June inspection).
1986 Corvette Coupe
111K miles
Silver exterior, Gray interior
Automatic
I have owned the car since May 2004
I have all records and reciepts during my ownership
The good:
ZR-1 wheels (275mm front, 315mm rear)
TPIS "Big Mouth" base manifold and "big Tube" runners
TPIS ported Plenum, and adjustable fuel Regulator
TPIS long tube Headers and Random Technologies High Flow Catalytic Converter
New Front tires (Sumitomo HTR)
Urathane bushings
Decent paint, Decent interior
Replaced during my ownership:
Radiator
Hard fuel lines
Fuel Tank
Alternator
Harmonic Balancer
Injectors
Water Pump
Master Cylinder
Half Shaft U joints (Spicer)
Rear wheel bearings
Seats (Leather and foam)
Carpets
Speakers
Hood release cable and handle
Fuel Pump
Mass Air Flow Sensor
Intake Air Temperature sensor
Oil pressure sensor
Coolant temp sensor
Starter (1988 Corvette mini-starter - clears the headers)
The bad:
A/C needs to be charged
Cruise control does not work
Needs valve stem seals replaced (puff of smoke on cold starts)
Selling because:
Second child is on the way, and this is my second vette. Time to lower my operating costs and eventually pick up a new toy in a few years.
I have the original intake, runners, wheels and tires, GM Shop manual and several tools specific to the car that will transfer with the car along with reciepts and records.
I also have a current CARFAX report for the car.
