Default 1996 Vette w/ only 42,500miles

$15,000 OBO

1996 Chevrolet Corvette with the Grand Sport LT4 eight cylinder and a 6 speed manual transmission. The car is in mint condition and has been garage kept for its entire life. I purchased the Vette a few months ago from its original owner who was an elderly gentlemen who kept it in the garage and under a cover as well. The car only has 42,000 miles. 6 CD changer was installed by the original owner as well as a override for the 1st to 4th so you don't have to get locked out of 2nd and 3rd for better fuel economy. Car is a targa top, so just pop the top off and it fits in its own holder in the back. The car drives amazing. Since the original driver was an elderly mad who just kept the car for weekend cruising and I didn't put 3,000 miles one it the car has never been abused. everything in the car works like new. Keyless entire that when you walk up to the car it unlocks and when you walk away it lock on its own, no need to even push a button (I thought that was a cool feature that came stock in '96). AC works too and is cold. car passed NYS inspection as it should. There are no problems with the hideaway headlights. The car is definitely perfect for those nice weekend drives with the top off, those are the only times I ever drove it. The car has just gotten a complete service less then 500 miles ago including:
-new distributer
-new distributer cap
-new distributer rotor
-new spark plug wires
-new spark plugs
-new water pump
-new thermostat
-new temperature sensor
-anti-freeze flushed and replaced
-all new tires with KUMHO, 255/44/17 fronts, 285/40/17 rears (could fit up to 315 in the rear because the rears are the Grand Sport size wheels at 17" by 11"!)
-alignment
-new wiper blades
-oil and filter change
-new one way emission exhaust air valves

VIN: 1G1YY225XT5112014

I can also email more photos of the car, I have pictures of everything on the car. Pilotf16@aol.com
I'll also be willing to trade for other vehicles.

Very nice car, but just so you know it appears the place you had put the tires on didn't know there are left and right side wheels as they are backwards in your pics.

Hope it sells for you.

LT4's are sweet.

Looks nice, probably a fair price, but don't think it is some kind of Grand sport (it isn't). All Lt4s said Grand Sport on the intake.

I have a 1990 Chevy 2dr style side long bed completely restored. Motor has less than 2K. But, it's done.......w/cordoba dark blue w/plastiglitter. Pirelli spiders. New from the the ground up. Balanced and centered drive shaft w/ 271 rear. Mallory distributor w/matching computer to increase gas mileage. I could type till I'm blue fingered :-) Radiator to air compressor .....ect.....Everything under the dash from heater coil to A/C coil. Oh, it has blue tooth, fm, dvd, movie screen in headliner, satellite TV and Sirius radio. 3K watts, amplifier, equalizer, c.d. all in the unique Car Toys "No Touch" radio. Hydraulic brakes, 3 speed in a four speed pattern to accomodate low w/ standard reverse positon. All leather kit boards, parts in doors accompanied by roll and pleat bench seat with matching headliner. New sound proofing covered by a gorgeous deep pile cadillace dark blue carpet. Chrome door pads with Chevy logo. All new wiring and fuse box w/ fuses. Runs like a dream, can't feel it run. Astra 777 alarm with door lock programmed. Remote beeper control. Two grills. One deep blue/ one standard soft gray aluminum look on plastic. Two headlight front with spoiler. Lower to a level appearance. Snug fit 8'X4' cover painted w/matching cordoba blue w/ plastiglitter. Sprayed sound proof bed finish with 5th wheel connection. Based out with 1/2" steel logo of Texas. Back up flood lights w/ 6 color glow combination.
Just to name a few bucks put into this 350 V8 5.7 litre motor built with precision mastery. OBDII connector under dash. All new interior parts. Manual windows just to allow originality. Easy fix if necessary.
Anyway, I built it.......have all the paperwork. But, I'm a vette man now and collecting them. I have a '96 Convertible, artic white. I recently put a new canvas grid convertible top on and am replacing the carpet this month.
call me if your interested in swappin' titles and happy holidays. 281-686-1508.
Please disregard this offer, I just noticed you are in New York......sorry......happy holidays

The top is stored wrong in one of the pics and the LT4 doesn't have a cap and rotor, not to mention the wheels. Looks nice. Good luck with the sale.
