C4 parts car with Ricmond 6 speed and Dana 44..

THANKS EVERYONE...THIS CAR HAS BEEN SOLD...

I have a 1986 C4 Corvette with a California salvage title. Easy car to drive again if so desired but I bought it strickly as a doner car for the C4 suspension, Richmond 6 speed transmission (4+3 was replaced)and Dana 44 rear end.

The interior, glass and front end are better than average on this car with some minor drivers side rear quarter damage. Click on the pic below then click on slideshow for good pics..

The car has water in the oil ...head gasket I imagine, but runs strong. I drove it about two miles and shifted thru all the gears, etc. It will come alive...!! The throwout bearing is a little noisy and it has "bald tires" the good ones were sold before I got the car. For a parts car these things don't matter...just mentioning them for those that might think about making it diveable.. It also has Pioneer stereo with a big amp (which I know nothing about but looks expensive).

I planned on using the suspension, the six speed, and the Dana 44 in a C1 Corvette Correction frame under my '61 model vette...but wound up buying a complete frame with all these parts already installed (health issues).

Priced at $3,500....car is located close to Fort Worth, Texas.

Note: A Richmond 6 speed (4+3 replacement transmission)cost close to $4K..

This is the reason...it doesn't take much to total a C4 in an insurance company's eyes. They can pay book value cheaper than paying for a quarter panel replacement/repair. Plus the damage only has to amount to 80% of wholesale book for most insurers to total it.
