Your car is on autotrader right? I've been looking at it, but we're on opposite sides of the US. Too far to do the deal. I just can't swing the cash to make it work. If you were in MD it'd be sold tomorrow. I have 4500 now, but a bit more coming in a couple days. I could never make it happen though with you being that far. Get it to me for 4500 and I'll take it sight unseen...lol.
it would cost you like 600 to ship it. goto a car shipping web site and you'll be amazed at what it cost. I would have saved a ton shipping my SRT-10 from GA to TX instead of flying up and driving it back. Buy the damn car!
Cheapest I could find was like 800 and that's if he would agree to drive it to the pickup facility. Need some more cash..waitin for ebay auctions to end.
keep looking, you will input your address and the pickup address, they drive to his house load it and bring it to your house. Keep looking that is too much
Can I get an interior shot...I'm likin cloth! Burn oil? Smogged, so I assume its pretty strong motor wise? Tranny grinds, any issues to mention that need immediate attention?

Yeah, definitely. I'd appreciate that BIG time. Just gotta wait for this guy to come back so I can get his number. I've considered shipping it, but I think I've decided I'd actually just fly out and get it if we could work out the details. An honest independent pre-look would be VERY comforting though.
I'm going to attempt to put a deposit on this car tomorrow as soon as I can reach Matt again. Mike, I may need you to take a quick look at it if possible. He said he doesn't mind. Let me talk to him once more, and if I can get a deposit arranged I'd like you to just take a quick look if you can. If not, that's ok too, I'm pretty certain I want the car. Reassurance is a good thing though.
Well, barring a catastrophe, it appears this will be my first Corvette. I'm sending Matt a deposit tonight, pending receipt of his paypal invoice and working on plane ticket and other items.
What a way to be introduced to the Corvette than to drive it 2500 miles the day you get it...lol. Pennsylvania to California and back for a 5000.00 Vette...haha!

I got friends arguing over the passenger seat ready to jump on the plane with me...lol. Thanks for all the positive comments...this has been a long time comin for me. Lots of years built up waiting to own one of these. I appreciate Matt (seller) working with me helping me get this and make the deal work. So many friends of mine know, even though this is kind of a "cheapie" Corvette, that this has been something I've been after but JUST missed for years. My facebook is blowin up with people I haven't spoken to in 10 years saying, "OH MY GOD...FINALLY!!!" It started in 1997 when I had 14,000.00 and was 1500 shy of getting a 6spd 91 (white), to having 8000.00 years later missing another 91 6spd (white) by 1000 bucks. So, here we go again with a white 6spd...hopefully the fact its a 92 breaks the curse.
Since I was a teenager I wanted this body style with a 6spd. Always something jumped in my way...but I'm pretty sure I got it this time. Seems almost lame that my friends are so excited over me buying a 5000.00 car, but it's really been that big of a deal with my for that many years.
Looks like I'm gonna buy plane ticket for the 30th of this month and go get this thing!
