C4 for around $6000-$7500.
Is it possible to get a C4 from 88-95 in the $6000-$7500 with around 50000-65000 miles?
I am looking for one, and would prefer it to be as close to stock as possible. Perfer northern states, as I dont want to travel too far.
One that works of course, and that's clean.

youd be MUCH happier with a newer/higher mile car than an older/lower mile car. I still fail to understand this obsession people have with low mile cars. It really doesnt mean a darn thing!!! Its all about maintenance and care over the life of a car.

I have a '95 Black 6-Speed I'm selling with 192,000 miles. Yea I KNOW the miles are high but it still runs good and looks good. It does however need a new rooof and some interior work particularly on the drivers seat. I'm askng $7500, that's negotiable. The car is currnently in Texas but I'll be moving to Michigan in about a week.

Check this one out, I spoke with the guy and it appears to have a lot of mechanicals done. Downside is the wood like interior and he put 91 front and rear clips on an 85. Otherwise good looking car and was willing to negotiate.

I HAVE seen some real nice L98s (85-91) for $6000-7000 in the last few months. And, as far as I know, they have not sold. Matter of fact, they were all 90-91, as I do not want the digital interior. If it was not for the fact that I can see I can have a comparable LT1 for another grand (and the extera 55 HP), I would have bought at least one of them in Pennsylvania. As I said above, I am close (>$500) on two of the LT1s.
Good luck!
Good luck!
thanks.

I posted a black 89 convertible today, I think it has about 85,000 miles on it, its in storage for the winter. I'm in New York, its in really nice shape, I am asking 11000 but email me if you want, price is negotiable, but I can't go $7500 - I have twice that invested in it, but I can come down off the $11000 for a quick sale

, "nice" is a relative term and subject to interpretation. i've seen cars labeled as nice that i considered junk. i never seem to run across one of these "nice" 7 grand corvettes...
when i bought my 90 (aug 08), i considered it "decent". not low miles, but not high miles (42K). i put a lot of elbow grease and a couple grand in it to get it to what i call "nice" - most of that was for the magnaflow/corsa exhaust. unless the owner is hurting for cash, or just plain stupid, good luck finding one like this for 7 grand.
i'm not hurting for cash, and i may be dumb, but i'm not stupid - no way in hell would i part with this car for $7K. BTW, i paid more than 7 grand for it.

I still dont get the mileage sympathizers. I have seen MANY thrashed, sun faded, choppy running, cracked targa top, stained/smokey interiored, blown speaker having, curb rashed and stained wheels with balled tires, smoke belching C4 corvettes with HALF the mileage mine has (117k).
Its ALL about care and maintenance. A bushing on a 20 year old car with 120k on it is the same as a bushing on a 20 year old car with 40k on it. all of these random parts are just as sensitive to AGE than to use. In fact there is alot to be said about the theory that constant use is better for these cars than sitting in dry-dock for years to preserve the low odometer.
