What do you guys think it's worth? If I can't get $9k or so I'll probably keep it. I really don't know what it's worth, though, because of the high mileage...Opinions?
I know there are a lot of people who take excellent care of their cars and 150K isn't that bad. But the reality of it is anything over 100k and the market becomes much smaller. But I don't think your 9K is unreasonable at all. And If I were you I wouldn't sell for less than that either.
But another problem is that the C5 is starting to compete with the C4 market because their prices are falling fast.

Yep, keeping it is your best bet. Since you have been a member since 2004, you have seen what excellent and good examples have and now sell for and you obviously know what a high mileage fixer-upper is worth. But, if testing the waters finds you a sale, those whom are selling; thank you. We, who serve, hail you Caesar.
I would have to agree....I am looking, and the CE is the top of my list, but my interest at that mileage level wanes as you move from 6k to 7k.....but I am always looking for a reason for a long trek!
i have a 96 CE LT1 auto.
it has 48,000 miles. i am 3rd owner. I was not really interested in getting rid of it but i am really wanting a 96 GS
i would consider letting it go for 10K. I would say its excellent condition. Its garaged and very rarely driven
I had purchased a 96 Lt4 for 5000$. Was well used and had a bad crank.
Sold it for a profit. I should have kept it and redid the bottom end.
Live and learn.
