78 K miles, ported intake, inj housing, 63 mm throttle body, 95 exhaust, new A mold 5 spokes and GSC tires, 4.10 super dana gears, new wheel bearings, kurt white shifter mod, new clutch, pressure plate, new master, DRM modified slave, battery, roll bar, lowered, poly bushings, braided brake lines.

this car needs a new home. very quick, well sorted out ZR1. see the world through a screaming face, car flat out hauls booty!!!

nice paint, interior, minor scuffing on windows, drivers bolster, slight delam on top of windshield.

everything works except antenna, fresh bose amps all around.

372.6 RWHP @ 6500 (uncorrected, nice cold air)
363.5 tq at 5100

corrected values are 354.8 rwhp and 346.1 tq (with 80 deg ambient instead of 54 deg)

car is black, with red interior. car runs VERY well, going to the dyno Saturday to verify my "seat of the pants" impressions.

I will post the pics and dyno sheet. this is the only place the car will be advertised for another week or two. after that, media blitz to sell, just bought a 95 ZR1 and can't keep "the black beast" :jester

I have seen this ZR-1 and it is well worth the 25K price tag. If someone was looking for a real stout ZR-1, here you go. The roll bar in the car looks mean too. I would love to add this car to my stable, but not right now.

I will take some fresh shots of the car this weekend, FYI, I will have the new 95 at DYNOTECH this weekend to see if I can back up the 361 HP run at SGC. someone really needs to check out this DRM. it's got the mods and performance at a stocker price. car hauls bootie. let me know if anyone is interested. What do the windsheilds run anyway? Do the Z's have different windshields than the normal C4s?

I heard a windshield for the ZR1 is about $1100. Sucks considering the windshield I put in my 90 before I sold it was $200.

all the ZR1s tend to have the windshield delaminate. the special coating and construction gives problems. this one is in REALLY good shape. the stock ZR1 windshields are pretty much made out of unobtanium, but you can certainly use a normal C4 windshield and the only thing you give up is the original "high tech" coating. not a big deal unless you show the car or are really hung up on being completely stock. I've seen windshields go for over 3k which is nuts!!! check out the pics guys, this car is ready to go.

it you want a screamin Z that runs like a lightning bolt, this is your car.

all the "reliable" mods are done, and the car rocks. hate to sell it but I have 7 cars and need to get some of the money I have tied up in the new 95 back.

check out the car. I can deliver to BG if someone is serious, I will drive it down, take you for a ride, and you WILL buy it. car is a BEAST!!! ;)

If you can find a ZR-1 windshield, early or late model, for 1100 bucks let me know. That would be a deal. Try about 3300-3400 for a perfect ZR-1 windshield, if you can find one forsale, that isn't starting to delaminate already.

But getting back to the topic.... I am surprised this car is still here!

thanks Ed, me too!!! with all the 90s on the market, this one has some stiff competition. but having two ZR1s is twice as good as not having any.

whoever drives this think will buy it. don't hesistate, bring your diaper!!!

this car rocks. after the recent dyno pulls to "clear it's throat" the car feels even stronger. the LT5 is an anvil and this DRM is a very strong example of the "black beast"

I will kick myself for selling this one. I can drive the car to BG for the gathering if it hasn't sold by then. let me know if anyone is interested. :jester

Wow, the windshield is that much? I knew it was a lot but lord!! So they don't make them new anymore? I figured they didn't. Mine still looks great thank god. I said $1100 because someone just told me that yesterday, but he doesn't have a Z.

I just priced one not too long ago. I was quoted $1100 but they could have not been able to get it once ordered. I did not realize they were discontinued. I was wrong about 90 not having the windshield, it must have been because our 90 was sitting inside and you could not tell. Oh well I would not have a hard time letting my insurace company replace it though.

buy this car soon before I change my mind and keep it. finances are looking up, and it's still WAY faster than my 95 ZR1 (which is stock).
