LOCATION: STATEN ISLAND, NY. 1986 Corvette, 5.7 V8, Automatic, Tan interior, Leather seats and carpet excellent. Recent work: 4 new tires a month ago, new clarion speakers, rear brakes, rear hub bearings, rear half shaft u joints, 4 bilstien shocks, statrer, alternator, water pump, all of the hoses, radiator, thermostat and water neck, belt, smog pump delete kit from TPIS, fuel pump, coolant sensor, TPS, fuel pressure regulator, coil, ignition modual, 8 new injectors, roller rockers, Edlebrock high-flo runners and lower manifold, 52mm Throttle body, Paint is about 2 years old. Interior is in great shape. Drives great, tranny shifts like new. Headlights work like brand new. It does need a few thing, nothing major. The gauge cluster no longer lights up, sometimes you get lucky and hit a bump and it light up again, but otherwise I tap on it to read it, It needs a replacement cluster. The bottom of the front bumper has some paint cracking from a parking lot ididot who doent know when to stop backing up. And it also has the typical puff of smoke at start up, not always, only after it sits for a while. all the earlier car did this until GM put roller in rockers . IT IS NOT AN OIL BURNER. I did a lot of work to this car, It was always parked indoors, I only drove it during the summer. I bought it on ebay in June 2005. Im selling it because I'm in school in Manhattan and I dont need a car, I'm always on my bike. I basiclly said everything it needs, It really doesnt need much. Look at other mid 80's vettes, most are distroyed. For $5,ooo, you wont find a cleaner one. A car lot would proabably ask like 8 for it. I just want to sell it. I dont have time to be hagling or wasting time with listing it. I would like this car go to someone who will treat it as good as I did. Its on ebay right now if you want to see pics.
