F/S : 96 DRM LT4..Reduced!..$17,500..New Pictures!
I have up for sale a 1996 Black Coupe with only 8200 miles! I have owned this car since new and this car was late in the production run of the C4's. The car has a tan interior and from the information that I can gather, there were only 183 Black/Tan Coupes with the LT4 produced.
The car has received some professionally installed mods from Doug Rippie Motorsports. The following mods were completed June of 06.
DRM Mods:
1. LT4 "TopEnd " Package - AFR Heads, Competition Cams Valve Train, 58mm Billet Throttle Body, High Volume Fuel Pump, Blueprinted Injectors, B&B 3" Stainless Exhaust and Stainless Works Long-Tube Headers. This package produced 377 rwhp!
2. Also installed was the DRM Coilover set-up. Hypercoil Springs with custom valved Bilstein Shocks.
3. The brakes were also upgrade with Baer two piece rotors and new GrandSport calipers. Braided brake lines were also added. A brake bias spring was also added within the master cylinder.
4. A Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator was added with the additional oil cooler. This is plumbed with braided lines and AN fittings.
5. K&N Filter with an Open Air Intake Lid
6. Modified Clutch Slave Cylinder
Additional Modifications:
1. A-Mold Replica wheels with NEW Goodyear GS-D3 Tires. (Now have an extra set of 17 x 11 rear wheels with GS-D3 315's).
2. Turn-One Power Steering Pump with Braided Lines
3. Greenwood C4-R wing complete with all underbody bracing
4. Custom CoverCraft Indoor Car Cover
This car is in immaculate condition, both inside and out. I can only think of one small rock chip on the hood and one on the far right side of the windshield. These both happened from the same rock about 6 months after I got the car!! I have all the documentation that this car would have produced from the original window sticker too all the DRM invoices including the Dyno sheets. My asking price is $17,500 FIRM .........Feel free in sending me a PM or call me at 573-356-3594. Thanks for looking!

if anyone wants me to look it at for them I will. I am not an official "expert" but i can tell you what I think of the car.
I live in the Columbia area, and no I do not know the owner.
looks like a great car.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments! And yes, if the gentleman from Harrisburg wants to inspect the car for someone that will be fine. Also, remember Randy from DRM is very familiar with this car and he has graciously offered to answer any questions!

Very nice car. I didn't realize there was another DRM car in central Mo! Were you at any shows over the summer? I don't remember seeing the car. Good luck on the sale.

Wow, not even a low-ball offer! This is truly one of the nicest C4's around!
Does anyone have, or anyone know someone that has, a LOW mile 03-04 Z06 that they would consider trading??

This economy is just killer. here we have probably one of the nicest cars of its kind...and no interest. I've been following a lot of sales and auctions lately and it just sux out there. 2001 z06's can't get 20K these days...and with low miles. This has to be the worst time to sell a car. its why I'm keeping my 92 and fixing it up further so at least some day down the road I might be able to sell her. Good luck with the sale.

Have you checked the fuel mileage after the mods? Its always nice to drive once a year to a major Corvette event in the midwest, Vettes on the Rockies, Black Hills, etc. Picked up an 88 (400rwp) in Houston last year. Drove it back to Nebraska for a friend, Got 31mpg out of the 383. Just curious how street friendly the car is before I ask any more questions. Thanks!

Thanks all for the positive comments!! As far as the cars street manners, it is very easy to drive on the street! I don't know what kind of gas mileage it gets because I never really cared. It doesn't seem to be bad or I would have noticed. The one thing the car doesn't like is being lugged off the line. The cam needs to be up in the rpms just a touch before starting to roll. Takes just one start too figure that out!
I drove the car home from Minnesota after the mods and I have driven it on several hour long trips. The B&B exhaust might be loud for some, but I like listening too it! Lastly, there are no "cats" on this car, just Stainless Works long-tube headers. That might be a problem for some, but it hasn't been for me. There is room within this exhaust system for some Random Technology Bullet Cats if so desired. We were going for power with this car and we achieved our goal. Guys, this is a very clean C4! Anyone interested in looking will NOT be disappointed! If there are any more questions, feel free in asking! Remember that Randy from DRM has also offered to answer any questions.
Thanks,
Scott
