Default 1995 with 1300 miles on it.. Questions

There is a guy near me who has a 1995 RED C4 it has 1300 miles on it & looks like its right out of the showroom...

I was told it needs a water pump (I'm guessing an Optispark also)... other than that I cant see anything wrong with it..

Its IMMACULATE... there is NO dirt on the underside at all..

It has all the options & is Automatic... I'm told he is asking $20,000 NOT NEGOTIABLE...

I'm just looking for thoughts on weather this is a good invesment, or I can put a lot less $$ and trade my 2005 C6 for a brand new car ?

Never buy anything purely as an investment. Buy it because you have a passion for it! (assuming you can afford it without placing yourself in a financial bind) If you love it regardless of its worth you won't be disappointed. Just my 2 cents worth.

It's definitely no investment. Now if it was a ZR-1......
Also, that few miles almost guarantees you numerous oil leaks.

thanks guys...good advice

After thinking on it.. I'm gonna take a pass on it... I'll stay with my 05 it only has 14000 miles on it and I don't have any payments..

Nothing special about this car...it's a 95 and an automatic. Make is a 96 and a manual and it might be worth it.

My guess is that it is a base car...no sport seats, no dual tops, no suspension package.

Nope.. it does have sport seats, not sure of the tops, I only saw the Red one.. it has power passenger seat etc... I'm not sure on suspension package can you tell from looking at the console.. it has a lot more buttons than my 96 (BASE MODEL HAD)

What kind of a demented madman buys a corvette and only manages to drive it 50 miles a year? I would have had 3000 miles on it the first week.
