I am selling my "baby". It is an 87 Silver Metallic automatic coupe. This vette has been heavily modified. The engine is a World Products 350. Has been bored .030 and has a 3.875 crank. CURRENT DISP. IS 396 CU.IN. It is internally balanced and blueprinted. I have all the clearances and tolerances on file. Engine features: Eagle crank and "H" beam rods with modified wrist pins. Custom Venolia pistons at 10:1 compression. Manley valves, comp springs and super comp roller lifters. Harland Sharp roller rockers and Crane stud girdle. All studs , nuts and bolts are ARP. Milodon oil pan. Power is supplied by a Vortech V7-Ysi supercharger. Heads are AFR 195 CC that have been ported and polished. Intake is Victor jr EFI which has been port matched. 1000cfm Accufab throttle body as well as Injection Connection 95lb/hr injectors.Crane cam with matching billet gear and timing chain. MLS head gaskets and HD GM oil pump.MSD Billet Distributor. Controlling the engine management is F.A.S.T. Includes software and laptop. Trans is a 700R4 which is heavily modified with billet pump and rotor assy and all internal solenoids, clutch packs, steels and 2nd band upgrade with new basket and input shaft. Rearend is modified with 3:73:1 ratio. Headers are T.P.I.S. This vette has SNOW Methanol Injection. Fuel is supplied by an A1000 with factory fuel tank left intact. I would like to get close to 20K, but close is negotiable. Car is inspected and does need the cowl induction hood painted. If I paint the whole car, I would neeed to get closer to 20K.
Some other mods are: gapless hellfire rings, ATI Torque converter 2800 stall, Trans Specialties Reverse Manual valve body. Auto Meter gauges. I am willing to work on price, but I won't give it away. Too much technology, time, and labor to have a street car this wickedly fast and dependable.
I am lowering the price of my 1987 blown, 396 vette. I wam asking 17K firm. I ncludes everything. This is a true street 9.50-10.00 car on pump gas. This car runs on a six rib serpentine belt setup and flat out hauls azz. This will be my last offer before it goes on to ebay.
