Default F/S 1990 Red/Red Coupe 49K miles $7500

[U]1990 Corvette Red/Red Low Miles Fully Loaded Auto 49k miles New Price $7500
$4200 in recent Repairs/Upgrades have all receipts. FX3 Ride Control, Leather Sport Seats. auto HVAC, New Tires and C6 Z06 Wheels have only 500 miles on them. EGR Delete, CAT Delete, AIR pump Delete. 2.25" Stainless Dual Exhaust with Borla Mufflers. Matched flow Ford Racing Injectors, Lowered about 5/8" in front and rear. New Front suspension Upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, Poly Bushings. Steering is tight! No wobbles. Will corner like it's on rails. Engine and Transmission are solid. 4 speed auto shifts like new. AC and Heat is good. Selling because I'm finally at the point where I can buy a C6. I love the car and would keep it if I wasn't going to upgrade. No room in the garage for both and the wife is being cooperative with the idea of a new one so I'm not pushing my luck by asking to keep it. Never wrecked. Title in hand. Cash. No trades.

Good.
New brakes, rotors, KumhoTires, C6 Z06 chrome Wheels, Have original wheels w/ goodyear GSC's that go with the car. New injectors, 160 deg thermostat, and full stainless borla dual exhaust from headers back. Have orginal exhaust and emissions parts also if you want it. Custom ultrasuede headliner, center console, and sunvisors.

Things IMO it could use.
Chip tune to make the most out of the recent mods. Runs great w/o which is why it hasn't been done yet. It does occasionally throw an engine code because it has no EGR valve for the computer to check for opening but the engine continues to run the same. No stumbles or loss of power.
Bose Stereo whines and is audible at cruise and idle but not at WOT. Update. Radio is working now. I guess the amps work better in warm weather?
ABS light is on. Throwing a code 76 Lateral accelerometer. It's behind the radio and I haven't done it because if I do, I'm going to replace the radio and speakers also.

Ugly parts of the car.
20 year old carpet is tired but not bad. Most who see it think I'm crazy to want it replaced.
Some scratches and Chips in Paint. I took pictures of the worst parts. Front left fender chips, top of Rear and roof oxidized.

The worst of the paint shown below

Sorry. I plan on driving it until it sells on the Z06 wheels because 2 of the tires on the stock wheels have little tread left. Also they are 17" all the way around. I believe you need a pair of 18" on the rear for a C5? I bought mine at OE Wheels on Ebay with the kumho tires already balanced. They were reasonably priced.

Starting to get cold feet on this whole idea of a new corvette with GM looking like it might not be around in 60 days. I might keep this one and put a new radio in and chip tune it and have a perfect car. Unless someone makes me an offer?

IMHO I would keep the car if I didn't have to sell it and wait and see what happens. since you don't need to sell it anyway.

None of my business I just hate to see anyone get that much less than it's worth for such a nice car.

If someone buys this they are getting a smoking deal, as I read earlier.

Good luck!!

If you have any doubts, keep it.

Your car is way too nice to let go for $7500. Keep it one more driving season, fix it the way you want it and see how it goes. If you let it go for $7500, I guarantee you'll end up kicking yourself in the butt.

Someone make me an offer. I'll sell it with the old wheels and tires or the new wheels and tires or both. It's up to you. I'm trying to stimulate the economy and save corvette by buying a new 2009 off the lot. If not I'll might just trade it in and get screwed by the dealer at the end of april. I've had a bunch of tire kickers out to look at it but I think most of them were dreamers and not buyers. Most seemed to not know much about about the car (ie. "you mean the top comes off?" "Does it have a V8?" )and I'd like to sell it to someone who will apreciate it as much as I have. Cool person peferred to match the car. It grabs alot of attention. The exhaust makes it sound like there is alot going on under the hood. PM me with any additional questions. I decribed the car to the best of my ability and there are no suprises on this car. I'm a straight shooter and will tell you everything wrong with the car because I wouldn't want someone selling me a car with undisclosed problems.

You're killing me.
If my wife wouldn't kill me for getting a car just 3 years newer, I'd do it. I can't believe no one is making you an offer.

It has the 90-96 interior. I think it looks better that the digital dash 84-89 and is worth the upgrade for looks and reliability.

WOW!!!! Nice car for $7500. I can't believe you still have it at that price. If my stupid Olds Alero would sell I'd fly out and buy this. Somebody buy this car, it is a heck of a deal.

If this wont sell for this low price, the rest of us might as well go get matches and gasoline...The economy cant be this bad.....
