Somebody with way too much money on his hands. These are corvettes, not art pieces!!! They probably all have the original gas and fluids from when they came from the factory. Original factory air in the dry rotted tires.
The most beautiful corvette is one that has been driven and enjoyed.
What a waste.
If they aren't ever to be driven, you could simply take a; ragged out, used up, C4 and paint it. Then sit it in a display room. It would still be the same........an unuseable 1:1 scale model.
Boy dont knock someone for collecting the cars, havent you ever seen a car collection, I doubt they are dry rotted also, looks like they have been kept in a climate controlled enviroment like most collections are.
Las Vegas area Vette owners I am sure know the Fairway Chevy dealer collection, they just sit there also.

Good point......I acknowledge your point of view as having merit.
If I was to old to drive, or unable to drive, I would still love cars and I would buy my favorite cars, if I had money to do so.
