This car on EB**, and the seller claims to be the second owner. Actually he has owned the car since Dec 96 according to the car fax. Car located between Mobile and Pensecola. Anybody know or seen this car? I know some have sold recently for around 19k with these miles. What would be the membership opinion of a fair price?

The car looks like it's in very good condition. However, I would say that its value is not too much more than the current bid. Unfortunately, that's the way it is now with C4's. They are just not up there unless it is a Grand Sport or a ZR1.

A forum member's car in Virginia w/ the same year & color combo, stick w/ 33k on the odo went for $19,300 if I remember correctly. It had a hardtop too, so that helped. So I'd say the car is worth somewhere in the $18s. Unfortunately finding a buyer that will pay that now is tricky given the C5 prices. The seller really needs to be patient & the right buyer will come along that wants a C4 in mint condition.

I know since I have a 92 vert w/ 33k on it in excellent condition that's been up for 8 months, but I have taken a deposit on the car that's a fair price. I'm lucky because I didn't HAVE to sell the car. If the buyer's in a bind, then the current bid might be what's he's looking at.
