F/S 1987 Coupe

I am selling my 1987 corvete coupe. It is white with a black interior. I am selling this vehicle because it will not pass smog in California. This car was built in Virginia when I was in the military and when I got out I decided to move back to California. The vehicle has been sitting since I moved back in June of 2007. The Motor is a ZZ4 crate with a number of modifications. The transmission is a 700-r4 that was rebuilt in the fall of 2006 with a new 2800 stall converter. The car is pretty quick and was setup as daily driven street car. I really dont want to sell this vehicle but I was quoted $3000 just for the smog parts to make this car legal. I am not sure of a price yet but Im open to offers. I just need to get this thing to someone who will enjoy it. It hurts to see it sit after all that time i spent building it. If anyone is interested I will give more details on all of the motor modification and other details.

Ill take some pix and post them up tomorrow. The paint is good with the exception of a crack on the drivers door near the mirror. It starts near the mirror base and is about 3 inches long sraight down. The...top?...not sure what that is called is cracked down the middle but doesnt leak. Interior was redone before it was moved out here and is still in good shape. Little dusty from sitting for a while. Make a good project car. Most of the motor/tranny mods are done just needs details.

I have gotten lots of requests for information on this vehicle the modifications can be found in my signature. The vehicle does not run but i feel is close...i believe it is timing or somethign simple i cant find. You can read my posts about that. I am asking 4000 and the vehicle is registered in non operational status. Vehicle MUST GO!!! So please let me know if you are interested!
