Default Opinion needed on 94 coupe

I hate starting this kind of thread as I'm sure most of you are sick of hearing about them, but I am new to the forum and new to the Corvette world. I'm currently looking at a 1994 coupe with auto trans and white exterior and red interior. The car is a three owner car with 29K miles. It does not have the performance suspension package. The current owner says it has only seen the rain three times and is absolute flawless. He is asking $13,800 for it. Kelly Blue Book says private party value is around $11,000, but I don't know if that's a fair assessment with a vette. Does this appear to be pretty fair, cause it seemed like a sweet deal to me.

I've seen prices all over the place... going up to $20,000.

if it is a low mileage car..carfax is good..compression is good...body checks out for no damage(FRAME)..and you think the price is good... BUY IT!

That seller's price doesn't strike me as being crazy high. I don't like kbb for vette values, because I think they're based on a formula not to be confused with what the cars are selling for in the real world.

NADA says the value is between $13,125 and $16,100 depending on the condition.

Based on my looking around to find a nice low mileage C4, sounds like a deal to me if the car has a clean Carfax, you want an automatic, and you like the colors.

Good luck with your decision.

Price is in the ballpark. Maybe a bit high, maybe not. If you like the car, can afford it, and you check it thoroughly, then it sounds like it's worth the price to you!

Buy it.

With that mileage I would go for it. Low mileage cars are difficult to price. That price is within reason. Good luck

Any vette with low mileage is worth a look, just make sure there is a clean title, no salvage titles...thats the kiss of death

That's high. You can get 60K mile cars for $ 8 - 10k all day long, and there is not much difference between 30k and 60k miles. White is not a good color for commanding a high price either...

That being said, if you're not trying to make money, get it and enjoy it. There aren't many of us who sell our corvettes for more than we have into them!
