status- i had 3 people from e*ay call and stop by/drive my car in the past few days. it is nice when people come by and say...it is exactly as you described, no excuses, no problems...kind of nice when people actually can trust others thesedays..the first person owned a viper-04, 00 c5 with paxton...he had just sold these two and drove the lt4, he was impressed with the condition but said he would not be satisfied as he is soo used to the pull of the viper and blown c5. not a problem to each his own. the second person to show up- a women- i guess they like vettes also...she began to haggle the minute out of the car...sorry i dont need to sell at a discount.. spring is coming and selling is going to get alot easier in 70-90 degree temps vs 20-30. the last person to show up...did the walk around inspection, took it out for a 6 mile ride and had a grin ear to ear...he was telling me that a dealer in ma had a red 94 with 30k miles but wanted just a tad over 20k. i told him they are nuts...they can ask what they want but i have seen 40-50k 93-94 go for 9-11 on e*ay. after the ride he said let me call the wife...i walked back in the house so he could drop the and say honey... i love you and you know i have always wanted a vette...blah, blah.. after about 5 min. i go back out and he says can i put a deposit down...so he ran down to the atm came back drew up a P&S with a few days of buyers remorse refund and there we have it..i have a couple days left on that auction site and he will be the high bidder..and hopefully be very happy with his 96 lt4 c/e...if the deal is completed i will revise the add as sold...thanks to all.
