Wow!
Can you guys give some detail of what you used to view it? I can't get it to work in Windows Media Player nor in QuickTime.

The link works fine guys. Save it to your hard drive and then open it with a current media player. I have used windows media player and quicktime.

Regarding power, it made a lot of power

MAX POWER = 460.36 MAX TORQUE = 594.74

Not to belabor it, but this still doesn't work for me. I upgraded to Windows Media Player 11, no dice. And I installed QuickTime Player 7.4. Also no dice. I've downloaded the movie file 3 times now and it just won't play. Both players complain they can't recognize the file.

Bob, I am sorry for the difficulties here - I can look into this and see, but this (and the others here) are the first I have heard/seen it not working. I even opened it on a I-Mac last week on the other side of the country

The video is pretty much a 2 1/2 min. dyno run (not all at full throttle)

Car runs amazing and the temps on the 150 mi. drive afterwards, had oil @ 205 max and coolant at 170ish

I cant open it either, and that goes for "jeffvette", among other guys as well. Transfer it to another link. I see your two friends aren't having any trouble.

If you are getting a codec required error, the player that is linked to play mpeg files (Windows Media Player, WinAmp, etc) associated the brower is old and needs to be updated.

Aurora,

If you have installed new players, are you trying to open the file from within the new player? If you are using the browser to do this, it will most likely still try to use the old player which is not removed. To update the programs associated with the browser (at least with IE) you have to go to Tools, Internet Options, Programs, Manage Add-Ons, and then ensure that the latest player is selected and not the old one.

Also inside your windows media player under Tools, Options, Player, make sure that "download codecs automatically" is checked.

I hope this helps.

Hey Luigi, yeah I was opening WMP, then opening the file from the menu. Not opening it via the browser.

I think I see the problem, I clicked the "web help" link and here's the issue:

You've encountered error message C00D10D1 while using Windows Media Player. The following information might help you troubleshoot the issue.
Codec is missing

Windows Media Player cannot play the file (or cannot play either the audio or video portion of the file) because the MPEG-2 audio decoder codec is not installed on your computer.

Perhaps the people it works for have DVD decoder software installed. I don't, which is probably why it won't play. These codecs are not free, so WMP won't be able to download one.

After this, I tried adding the file into my DVD creator software. From there I could view it in the "preview" mode. Neat video!

Bob, glad you liked it. It is one FAST Callaway!

Looks like you were able to break past the PEBKAC pc errors others seem to have

Aurora,

Actually, the codec required to see it is free, just more advanced than the standard codec.

If you open Windows Media Player, there is an option to automatically search and download codecs but it does not seem to be checked on by default.

Try this.... inside your windows media player under Tools, Options, Player, make sure that "download codecs automatically" is checked.

It should work.

It is a lot of car for the money, that is for sure!

I had one person tell me that because of NADA values being so high on these cars, a loan would not be an issue. Please let me know if I can answer anything for you.

Those wheels alone are valued in the 6-8K range or better. Plus you get sooooo many extra's with the purchase.
Thanks Joe

Thank you to those who have recently contacted me on the Callaway

To clarify, the asking price is $34,500

This includes the Callaway Twin Turbo Corvette, and the spare and original Callaway engine (long block), along with the ZF6 black label transmission, bellhousing, c-beam, driveshaft, RARE 1989 6-spd console, and a host of other related components, should you want to go back to the original configuration.

The car is located in Virginia

Please email me if you have any questions or would like to schedule a time to see this VERY POWERFUL Callaway

I bought this car for my wife, she simply does not have the time to drive/enjoy it. This car is not stock and is extremely fast.

The previous owner sent the car back to Callaway Cars and LPE for work. Did I mention it is very fast!

Thank you for looking. Serious inquiries only

Please reply by email, NOT to this thread if interested. Thanks.

..... Ive spent a few hours behind the wheel of this car. It is clean and fast.

Callaways are a very rare car, an LPE modified Callaway TT....well this most likely one of one. Most people either can't afford a $30k+ 20 year old car, they are scared to buy one b/c they don't know anything about them, or they want to get into a C6 daily driver with a warranty

It took me over a year to sell my Callaway TT when I had to let it go.

It will sell. A lot of guys that buy a b2k end buying more than one or they buy another Callaway. When the time is right I'll be back in a b2k for sure.

I know some owners (myself included), with three or four Callaways - some with even more!

If the car wasn't so fast, you would have had more time in it
