FS: 1996 LT4 Coupe (FL)
I have a 1996 Polo Green coupe with beige leather and a body colored roof panel for sale with approximately 53,000 miles for $12,900. The car is located in South Miami.
It is relatively stock, except for 5 star ZR1 rims (9s in the front and 11s in the rear). The front tires are good, the rear tires will need replacing soon. I have the original saw blades without tires that will come with the car.
The paint is nice, as I believe it is original and has good depth and shine, there are a few nicks and scratchs here and there. There is no peeling or fade spots. There is a small area in the front bumper where it is spider cracking, but it is not real obvious. I would rather leave it, so anyone buying the car can see how minimal it is, and they can paint it for a few dollars if they like.
Interior is pretty good. The seats are nice with almost no wear showing. The carpets are in good condition. The ashtray cover is broken and not functioning properly and there is a bit of peeling on the rubberized coating on the center console piece where the ash tray is. The ash tray can be put in the open or closed position, it seems like there is a piece broken. The visors have the floppy ear syndrome.
There is a problem with the electronic a/c and cruise control. The ac blows through the defrost vents. I am told this is probably a vacuum leak, especially since the cruise is also having a problem. I would rather sell with a discount and not spend the time to have it traced, as I do not have a lot of free time to run the car around or fix it myself.
The car runs very well. I had a Grand Sport convertible (LT4) and this car feels amazingly better. Maybe it is the weight difference between the coupe and convertible, but nevertheless it runs and drives really well.
I have a clean title in hand.
I have tried to take into account a good selling price and reduced it by the cost to fix the a/c in the worst type case scenario, which may not be that much of a problem, as there are some simple fixes that I have seen online, and it could easily be one of these.
I am not online that much, but I will try to answer questions when I have a chance at least daily.
I am putting it on the forum first before I put it in the trader.
Thank you.

There is a picture in the slide show posted in the Southest Region section of the forum to a show I went to over the weekend. It is the 19th picture.

The AC coming from the floor/defrost position is an easy, allmost free fix that affects 96s. Anyone can do a search here in C4 tech on it.
Bump for a good looking car at a great price IMO
