'86 Black A4 coupe MANY mods
I am putting up my '86 Z51 for sale. Here is a partial list of modifications:
Brodix IK200 alum cylinder heads
SuperRam upper and lower intake(powdercoated black to match car)
TPIS camshaft .523 lift 224 deg duration
Hooker 2151 coated long tube headers
Harland Sharp 1.6 roller rockers
GM 2500 stall torque converter
52MM throttle body
Ford 24lb. injectors
adjustable fuel pressure regulator
2 year old Bilstein shocks
MSD coil
Taylor Spiro-Pro plug wires
B&M shift point recalibration kit(not installed, still in package)
lots of other misc upgrades
Car has 172,00 miles
Engine rebuilt 35,000 miles ago
trans rebuilt and shift kit 40,000 miles ago
new U-joints
new ball joints
new starter
heck, half the car has been replaced in the 7 years I've had it
The horn, ac, and heat don't work. The tach doesn't work(reads 0 all the time), and there's what I think to be a small vacuum leak. It hunts for an idle for the first 20 seconds it runs, then it smooths out.
The car was repainted 8 years ago. It looks awesome from 20 feet away, but up close there are some flaws in the paint. The interior looks a little better than most 21 year old Corvette interiors, which isn't saying much. The seat leather is in good condition, but needs to be re-dyed in some spots. No cracking, though. The steering wheel of course needs to be recovered, and the plastic trim would be replaced if I were planning on keeping the car. It has an aftermarket Pioneer CD deck along with Pioneer speakers.
The car is very fast for something that still gets 28 mpg on the highway. With a good set of drag radials it will be VERY low 12's, possibly cracking into the 11's.
I'm asking $7,500
Thanks for looking
Steve
