I have a 1987 Z51 Dark Red Metallic/Graphite in impeccable condition. It has every option except power door locks (and is not a Callaway). The original owner forgot to order power door locks when he ordered the car. I am located in Richmond VA, but will be in Palmyra NJ this weekend. If you can have your finances in order by then, I will drive the car up. If not, it is about a 5 hour ride from Brick to Richmond. i'm 18 live in NJ inc on my camaro is $1200 a year
i figured out that i can afford inc up to $1200 a year for the camaro and $3000 for the vette

I am paying about 1100 a year for insurance and I'm 42 with a perfect record.

I would try to spend atleast 12 on a C4 and get something real clean with low mileage if you can, even if it means waiting and saving up a few more thousand. It will be worth it in the long run.

Are you keeping your Camaro? If so, inquire about having the vette added as a recreational vehicle and you should get a decent discount, but, you are 18, and any rate they shoot you will be high :eek:

yeah i'm keeping the camaro i figured into my expenses $3000 for vette inc it cant be more than that can it? :confused:

i have a red 85. it has had a new paint job, and transmission in the last 2 years. 122000 miles. auto, 17" wheels, updated front end, spent almost 1100.00 updating the headlight butt'y, loaded, converting the original red leather interior to black, almost finished. new 86 style steering wheel. very clean 2nd owner car. very rarley wet. driven less than 5000 miles a year.
has something wrong with the motor.
i know this car is worth 7800 to 8500. but i am willing to dump it to the first $6000. i highly doubt you will find a sweeter deal than this. i need the money for my new house, ASAP!!!!! :flag

Please allow me to run this 85 by you: Gold Metallic, 4+3, 51K miles, Saddle leather, Z51, Glass Top. Has mild ground effects and rear spolier. Tires are brand new, also has new A/C compressor.

It is in excellent shape and I'd like to get $8900 out of it...
