It's time to sell. I am third owner. It has 27000 miles on it. This car has been babied since new. I want something I can treat a little rougher so it's time to sell this one. This CE has every available option. The car came with run flats but still has a spare tire. I replaced the original tires with GS D3's. It has a set of powder coated shorty headers on it. I have a set of stock exhaust manifolds to go with. It has Power Effects adjustable exhaust on it. I do not have the original exhaust.
The red interior just makes the Sebring Silver pop. Dual 6 way power seats. 3 position select ride suspension. Bose CD/cassette. I have reproductions of the build sheet and window sticker as well as several magazine reviews’ from 1996 when this car was new. They will go with the car. The hardtop is in mint condition. It sits on a stand I got from Mid America designs. I have all the tools, deck lid pad and brackets to go with the top. I recently purchased a torch red bra from C5 creations (original mounting screws are in a bag). It will go with also. I have a new car cover as well. I am a member of the Crown Point Corvette club. Last year we had track day at US 41 Drag way. This car ran a best of 13.1 in the quarter. Quicker than the C5's.

I had this car at the spring Chevy Vette Fest at McCormick place this year. It took gold first time. It also took the top gun award for best in class. I have many trophies from local shows.
Here is a link to some pics while the car was at Chevy Vette fest.
I am asking $29000. Less than the top NADA price. There are only 68 CE's optioned like this not counting the hardtop. http://www.wright.edu/~mathews.5/ Who knows if there even is another one identical to this one?
Sweet Vette.
Good luck on your sale.
Why is your Vette convrt & the one you're showing in the pics a hardtop?
If you look at his list of options, he bought the optional, removable hardtop. That is the one in the avatar on the car. A very nice touch and a nice option to have with the car (even if some drivers seldom use it!).

Thanks for the compliment. When we sell the 96 we are moving in to a C5. The 96 is just to pretty. I want something I can mod and then drive like a Corvette should be driven. Take on trips, etc. Nitrous, blower, stuff like that. My wife says we should just keep the CE but I already have too many cars. I put a high price on it to get started. It is only advertised here for the winter. In the spring I will get a little more agresive trying to sell it. I can always come down on the price if anyone is serious about it.
This is indeed a beautiful and nicely detailed car. It could easily pass for 2,700 miles instead of 27,000!
Good Luck with the sale, Paul and I hope to see you with your next Corvette at a future Chevy Vettefest! Thanks for showing it last spring, it was a fine addition to the show!
BTW...you can come to the November show without your car if you prefer.
Paul, Best of luck with the sale. I have owned a CE vert with Bleeding guts, one of my all time favorites. A friend on mine still has the car, NOT as loaded as I had a LT1 and no hard top. I would like to add this to my Collection, time is just not right.
