I am considering selling my 94 Dk Red coupe. The car has been overhauled with a new LT1 short block + LT4 heads, cam, etc new clutch assembly from Carolina clutch, most work has been done by Joe Malo at Koons Tysons. Can't really afford the car anymore, and I hardly ever get a chance to drive it. I'll be happy to send pictures and entertain any serious offers. Car has about 30K original miles on it, far less on the motor. If interested email me at tservo@gmail.com. I am located in Springfield Va.
Best of luck it sounds like a great car. Just reminder from the posting guidelines (above), see point #4
"In the post itself list the price."
My apologies, it's been a while since I posted on this forum. I don't really have a price set, more along the lines of "any reasonable offer". I'll come up with a price after I get a feel for what other similar cars are selling for and I'll post it. Hope that's ok?
Pics always help. KBB private party values are about the most accurate when it comes to actual selling prices. Don't look at the asking prices to be what they actually sell for.
Pat, I hope you're not doing this just to free up more time for brewing that Bavarian Hefe Weizen... . At any rate, here's a bump back up for you.
No, not just!
Last batch was a pretty good IPA, not great, but it gives me something to work toward! I got a little lazy lately and haven't been brewing as much, need to get back to that! Thanks for the bump, hope all is well with you!
I was going to attach a few pics, but it would appear I need to be a supporting member to do so. I understand, storage isn't free after all. So I guess if anyone would like pics send your e-mail to me at tservo@gmail.com and I will send you a few.
A little more info about the car:
It is a six speed, grey/black interior (comes from the fact that I started to convert the interior from grey to black, but never finished, I still have all the carpeting though).
I am having some issues with the clutch, I may have to have someone look at it for me, since I have neither the time nor the skill to do it myself. If anyone is interested in the car as is, I'd deduct the price of a new clutch (which I don't think it needs!) +.
Yeah, I know, I should have done that a while back. Let's start with 11K and go from there, price IS negotiable, I'm not desperate to sell, but I'm motivated, for me that is! (new kitchen in another 3 months, kids school in 1.5 months, misc other things)...
Location: The reason time exists is so everything doesn't happen at once
30,000 miles, $11,000 sounds like a great deal.
How long have you owned the car and why did it need a new short block and clutch with less than 30k miles?
"I am having some issues with the clutch, I may have to have someone look at it for me, since I have neither the time nor the skill to do it myself." I suggest you bring it back to Joe Malo.
