Let me just tell you what is wrong with it first and you can just assume everything else is good enough.
*Rebuilt motor, needs tuneup, seems to run fine.
*3rd is going on tranny (needs rebuild) but still holds strong trough all the gears.
*white paint in excellent condition except for a small area on front corner nose and back corner bumper where it got bumped and a short rub mark on the hood where a brick bounced off it before busting the windshield out (which was replaced)
*car has a fuel issue where when it is turned off after running a while, it won't start right back up. I was told this is most likely a leaking injector or something.
*Will need new tires if used for daily driving.
*Drivers seat is pretty worn on the side bolsters (power sport seats) but everything still works on it.
*Rear carpet looks good, but one of the cargo door covering was cut out to make room for the custom amp/sub deck. I can leave the deck with the car if you want to use it. (it fits a 10" sub). The 2 cargo doors are fine and just need to be screwed back in if you want the amp/sub deck taken out.
Some basic info:
*130K miles on everyting except the motor
*Motor has roughly 15-20K miles on it since rebuild
*Body is in excellent shape, no warped panels, nothing cracked or broken.
*brand new windshield due to vandals. New retainers, seals, etc.
*Z51 suspension
*borla mufflers w/new rear walker crossover y-pipe. all cats are gutted.
*OZ Monte Caro racing wheels.
*Lots of new parts added over the years
there is just too much to list on this car, I will need to write up an extensive list when I get home of all the mods and other things about it.
anything related to it I have sitting around goes with it. extra top (that needs repairing), 2 extra wheels (original razor blade wheels) and a bunch of other random parts in a big box that can all go with it.
I will leave the head unit in, but all speakers will be removed along with the amps and sub (unless you want to pay extra for it all). I will at least put some speakers in it to be functional though.
I need to get rid of this because I am tired of working on it, tired of spending money on it, and tired of paying insurance on it since I never drive it. I dont have a garage so I can't store it and I just need it gone to someone that wants a good project car that would just need some TLC to make it a daily driver again, or possibly a drag car or something.
I am asking $5K/obo for it.
I would be willing to take partial trade for an older 4x4 truck for offroading. I am looking at late 80's 4Runners or Toyota trucks or early 90's Cherokee's for offroad use.
I plan to pay off my Tiburon and get a C5 in a few years...so no, I will not be completely Corvette-less forever
Sorry for rambling on.. i am so frustrated with it I just want it gone ASAP... please reply, or PM me any question and I will do my best to answer them.
Here are some pics and more info of whats in the motor, etc.
It's not too detailed, but it was all I could throw up in short time before work this morning. I will be out of town until Monday, so feel free to flood my inbox or reply here with any questions and I will answer them all when I get back.

If you're interested GIJoe, I'll be in phone contact with Daffy over the weekend. He's racing through Monday. It's a pretty good old truck, he got it nearly new and has kept it up. Still looks pretty good too. Feel free to get in touch with me and I can put you directly in contact with him too, if need be. Andy's as good as they come, he's a straight shooter.
Found a new small scratch on the passenger side rear 1/4 above the wheel well. This is why I need it gone soon so the jerks that have no respect for other people's property and vehicles don't keep destroying it
Excuse the dirty look. It hasn't been washed in a month so I did a quickie with the meguiers detailing stuff. The inside needs to be vacced and dusted, but you get the general idea of what condition it's in.
The Optima Red Top is out of the car right now and is fully charged. I didn't feel like putting it back in just for the pics.
I forgot the passenger headlight is missing it's cover (bumped it one night) and is around somewhere. It can be EASILY fixed. It is in near perfect condition except one of the screw holes is cracked so I didn't want to loose it while driving around and just removed it. (both headlight works flawlessly, motors are brand new and only 3+ years old and only used for a few months in those 3 years since installed)
there is another small mar (no idea what caused it) on the driver side just behind the door below the back hatch.
The wheels need painting and some finishing work, but are in good shape otherwise. I have 2 original razor blade wheels that will go with the car also (use for some DRs or who knows what).
Also the other roof (needs fiberglass work) goes with it too. (original white top).
I think that just about covers most of the extra things I noticed while taking pics of it...
let me know if anyone needs any more pics of explaination of anything.
Can you post a picture of the sticker with RPO codes? You have the receipts for the engine rebuild?
Is that the sticker on the end of the door?
I will have to see if I still have any useful receipts. It looks like my wife kept a large folder of all kinds of receipts just for the Corvette. What kind of stuff did you need? parts numbers and dates and such?
You listed Z51 but I see the FX3 control. Z07 wasn't offered in 89 so does the car have Z51 springs with FX3?
Machined by Central Fl Machine and Speed. Built by my buddy and I once all the machine work was done. No warranty. I found the receipt for all the labor that was done, although its kind of hard to read
Z51 suspension with FX3 adjustable ride control. The FX3 computer is still there ,but the actuators were "stolen" by the jerks who replaced my shocks not too long after I got it. They currently have Monroe's installed (Non FX3).
Did you ever use a fuel pressure gauge to see if the system was holding pressure?
Never got around to it. If I get some free time one of these days I might see if I can borrow one and try it to see what happens. If one IS leaking, I have a buddy that said he would give me one that came out of an L98 camaro. It's just one of those things that I just don't have the time to do anymore.
OK.. What about the alarm system. Have any info on it?
I also noticed the hood release looks broken. What happened there?
I have the box and all stuff for the alarm. Ill have to dig out the info for it. It is a keyless entry and has shock sensing (it kept the cats off nicely). It was professionally installed at an audio shop. I havn't used it in about 2-3 years, so I don't know if it all works still. THe keyless remote still worked last time I played with it, but I just leave it "disarmed" for now.
There was also some random Alpine alarm in there before I bought the car that was butchered all up in there that was completely and successfully removed from under the dash. They had spliced a few wires and electrical taped it all together. I spend an entire afternoon one day and removed it all, using crimps and putting all the wiring back together properly.
Never had any issues with it before or after.
The hood release latch was JUST broken last week by the 1st guy to test drive it. I forgot all about that until I popped the hood for the pics this afternoon. He jumped it with a battery pack and ran it down the street (without me in it) without a battery. He wasn't used to the clutch (Spec3) and stalled it aparently...so in trying to open the hood to rejump it he broke the latch. It looks like I can just screw it back in though. It's sitting on the passenger floor. To get the pics I took this afternoon, I just pulled both cables and the hood opened just fine. My apologies for that.. I will see if I can fix that this week. It pissed me off pretty bad when I found out about that. He called me up from a gas station telling me he couldn't get the hood open, so I had to drive out and open the hood and get it back home.
