A non-member friend posted this on a forum, and I wanted to solicit input from folks here:
"I'm curious what numbers others come up with. I know it's subjective and all that stuff, ...but as a whole (and as a buyer) what would be a good/great deal to purchase this car at?
It's a 1987 Corvette, convertible (White, White top, ...red leather interior) with 32 (yes, ...that's right 32!) miles on it.
It's never even been registered, ...literally only driven home from the dealership. It's in 'new' condition, interior even still smells new, ...however currently does NOT run. It's been in heated storage most of it's life, ...currently in my garage (for the past 3-4 years).
The guy plans to sell it so I'm curious what others think it's worth...???"
my bad ....he had posted this later in the thread: "...the car was never started after the guy purchased it. It just sat, ...and we all know what happens to gas when it sits forever, ...not good for injectors and such.
Understood, ...that if running it would be worth more, ...but if one were to buy it, ...as it sits..."
