1990 Convertible listed on Ebay. Steel Blue Metalic, 6-sp, lots of work already completed. High mileage car in excellent condition. I know it's a lot of money for a high mileage L98, but I've also put a lot into the car. Just thought I would throw a tag line out there in case anyone's interested. Pics and details at below item number. I tried to put a link below, but couldn't figure out how to make it work without being a mile long.
Car is For Sale locally at $10,900. As with everything else in life though, cash talks and ...

Two things, first you need to fill out your profile, second if you are listing on ebay but selling locally, I'd rather you not list it here. ALl we need is for someone here to bid on it and then a local guy pays you cash and the guy here is left out in the cold and then makes a bad post about you and then I have to step in and start busting people. SO please either take it off ebay or take it off here.
Profile filled in, thank you for the reminder. For Sale locally, has meant when the car is parked, I throw a for sale sign on the dash. I don't want a bunch of wierdo's calling me at home because I have a VETTE for sale. I'm mostly working word of mouth. I also have worked very hard to maintain a 100% feedback rating on Ebay. If someone on Ebay hits the reserve, it comes off the local market and as far as I'm concerned I'm justing waiting to see which Ebayer gets in the final bid. Besides, that auction is over Sunday for better or worse. Thank you for the advice though.
here ya go
really nice vette, steel blue looks great on C4's. My 94's been on ebay also, over a week, came up about $1500 short of my bottom. seems like a lot of cars aren't meeting the reserve. Good luck with yours!
New reserve on Ebay. I put a buy-it now price of $9,500 but the reserve is lower than that.
I know the mileage is high, but anyone that looks at the pictures can tell it's been well maintained and I've put a lot of time into her. There's a whole host of tasteful performance upgrades already on the car. I spent a lot of time reading other people's posts here on the forum before selecting my mods. The car is tight and right despite the miles.
I hate to sell, but I need a truck in a bad way and momma says I have too many toys as it is.
Looks like you'll sell it.
If my Jag was sold and other than the fact that your far away, I would maybe buy it.
The girls want a 6 speed and mom isn't too crazy about them in her new to her 96.
Timing is eveything.

Reason: sell-not sale
Well, it didn't sell. Evidently $8,100 was the top dollar anyone was willing to pay for it on Ebay. I'll try again because I'm too hard-headed not to, I've had several emails from people about loving the color and the options list, just no $$$ yet. In any case, it's still available.
About $550 through DAS unless you want an enclosed carrier, then it would be about $940. Of course you could fly into Palm Springs from Louisville and I'd meet you at the airport with a clean car full of gas so you could drive home with the top down for about $300 airfare plus gas and food.
Man, that sound's like a trip I'd like to take. Oh well, someday...
Any interest out there? I need to unload this car quick. I'm heading out again first week in March and I don't want to leave her in the garage for another 7 months while I'm gone.
Looks really nice, but the mileage is really hurting it. I see in your ebay ad it is rebuilt, but there is no proof really, so you know how that goes..
TTT for ya..

yea, I hear ya about the mileage. I knew the car for a couple years before a friend sold her to me, so I knew it was right. And I'm confident that anyone that goes for a ride will think the same thing, but mileage is mileage...
Shoot, I don't even own a car with less than 100k on the clock. My Harley's almost there even. I don't much worry about, I just make sure my AAA card is current and drive.
Gotta admit though, convertible in Steel Blue Metallic, 6-speed, FX3, and a host of other goodies is a beautiful combination. If it doesn't sell this time, I'll just have to put her in long term storage and hope the injectors, wiring, and everything else survive. A good car cover and healthy coat of wax will save the body and paint, and I'm not worried about the interior. But we all know what tends to happen behind the scenes when these cars sit too long.
Send me an email about the history of the car, to livin@centurytel.net
Exolain about the documentation you may have, if any. Send me your # or an email and I will give you mine.
Thanks,
livin
