Default 88 Vert for sale

The OD filter was changed about 20K mile ago. The fluid for both the 4 speed and the OD was changed about 5k miles ago when I had a squeeky Pilot bearing replaced.

The car is in Bismarck North Dakota.

It is a blast to drive, and everything works.

Default fs 88 convertible

The car has been a driver so has been driven to Fayetteville Arkansas, Minneapolis, Brainerd, and other points in Minnesota, Sioux Falls, Black Hills (Rapid City, Spearfish, etc) South Dakota, and Devils Tower Wyoming, in addition to many points in North Dakota. The car and I in the last 10 years has been to many of these places more than once.

The short message is 138,000 miles, but I think highway miles are easier on the car, and lets be frank, I like to go on road trips and drive the car. Good maintenance is key for me, and like to drive something I can be proud of. Yeah, it isn't a trailer or garage queen, but this is a completely stock and unmolested car.

Thanks for asking.

bump to top for myself

Anyone have any ideas to help with the sale?

sport seats
auxiliary boost fan
I replaced the dash bezels with new ones a few years ago.

This car was originally a radio delete car. I think there were only 174 made.

Thanks

Default c-4 sales

I put my 89 vert on ebay and best bid I got was $7500. My vette had new engine and rebuilt auto trany with less than 3000 miles at time of ebay sale. odometer has 130,000. Needless to say it didn't hit the reserve and I wasn't about to give it away. C-4 prices are sucking bad right now. Since I didn't have to sell it I figured the heck with it and just keep it till prices go up like in another 10 years.

I agree, times must be tough.

No one will call and start a price negotiation.

I have a little room to bargain, I thought there would be more action.

I am out of town so it is a little tough to communicate, but no calls at all. I am hoping the right person will see the ad. I may need to go to e-bay and see what it will fetch. I would like to sell before I have to arrange winter storage. I moved into a C5, and really like the idea of having both, but it just isn't practical for me.

Thanks for the bump.

What do you attribute the tough market to? I'm experiencing a similar issue selling my '88 coupe right now. Is it the C6 release that's decreasing the price, coupled with oil issues?

Primary, in my opninion, the C6 coming out and driving down the prices of C5s. Ive seen some decent, not great, but not terrible either, early C5s in the 15k-18k range. That isnt good for the C4 market.

Just my observation.

Dang, too bad you're not closer to me (in Seattle). I've kinda been looking for a Z52 vert but am not at the point yet of doing a distance deal.
