true enough. some vette owner put a sticker price that is somewhat too high, hoping to find some sucker! in my opinion C4's are really high priced right now. and if u look most of those cars high lower miles then yours.

Buy a C-4
IMO, if you can, buy the nicest lowest miles, many options, C-4 you can afford. They are out there, and now is the time to get them.
I believe they hit bottom months ago, and are starting to come back up.
Look at what a nice LT-4 with low miles is going to cost.

I'm the last guy who's gonna' bash anyone here.
It looks like my car is also considered overpriced
by many here on the Forum. It's been in the "For Sale"
section for a week and not one nibble.
I guess from what I can tell, Forum people tend to
look for a deal here, and that's o-k, who in their
right mind would not want to get the best price possible ?
Just a few thoughts,
Mark B.

Do you have any pictures of the car that you could post? I have some interest in it.

I too am tired of people on this forum putting down other individuals cars and price. IMO you have driven the pricing on C4's on this forum to way below what they are worth on the street. I will be putting my 90 on the market soon and I will report back on how it goes

Man, it makes my mint 1988 one owner, always garaged, never seen rain, fully optioned Vert that I purchased for $8800 look like a real bargain - this thread has made me so happy!

Last Summer I sold my 88 vert with 48,000 miles for $14000. I had it advertised here on the forum for $14500. Absolutely a waste of effort putting it on the forum. The local guy who bought it was happy to find a car in the condition my 88 was in. We both feel like we got a good deal. Forum shoppers want a clean low mile mint condition car never been driven with plastic on the seats for $6000 and still feel like they paid too much.
I'm not happy with the trailer hitch he put on the 88, but it is his car and my money now.

Advertising Corvettes
I have only used www.autotrader.com, and www.usedcorvettesforsale.com to sell. I just sold an 89 two top roadster for $15,500.00, 52K miles, and in excellent condition.
I will sell my 16K mile ZR-1, and go to an '02 ZO-6 in November. The ZR-1, I will advertise on the ZR-1 Registry. On the Registry you will have contact from serious buyers who usually know what the car is about.
I have sold Vettes to local buyers also, who know how that I do not deal in junk. What I am saying here, is that if you have something nice, then someone is going to buy it. Same goes for boats and trucks.
