what a 1990 damaged worth?
Hey guys,
Some of you may know that I was hit by a uninsured driver. The insurance company is willing to fix the car or give me $8700 and my car back unfixed.
The pics have been posted in the general C4 discussion. The car is white with a red interior and glass top. Car was almost mint condition when hit with only 65k miles.
Car needs hood, everything in the front bumper including the bumper, and the front tips straightened. I don't know if I should have my baby fixed, sell as-is, or part it out. What are your thoughts?

take the $8,700 and the car and RUN! Don't walk, RUN!
$8,700 is probably more than you would get for the car once repaired as it would have "history" -

that sound pretty good i would take the 8.7K and the car and run
I did the same thing with my wreaked mustang they would only give me $1000 more if they kept the car I sold it to a guy for parts for 2K
what are they offering you if they keep the car ?

I work for a major auto insurance company and you are getting a SCREAMING deal. I would take the money before that adjuster comes to his/her senses and/or their boss looks at what you are being offered.
