Makes you wonder why they're having trouble getting 500hp. out of 7 Liters. After all, the 350 LT5 was ready to bump to 475hp. ten years ago.
I wonder what it would be putting out today, if it was still in development. HMmmmm, at 6 Liters (a good size), I would say, a smooth 525/500.

And although I LOVE the old C4 look, the 230-240 hp from those cars was ridiculous. I want one, don't get me wrong, but it's not a sportcar. (1984 ad said 'the most advanced production car in the world' ha ha)
The L98 was a big step up from the L83, but still nothing to write home about. The LT5 was a revelation, a peek at the future. Too bad they killed it. Now lets see what they do with the LS7. Whether it will really be a 7.0L and 500+.
