Default Birth of a Basket

Well, the basket case ZR-1 is showing signs of rebirth. Although labor has not occurred, the baby is healthy and appears weeks away from delivery. New pics using special photography to look into the womb of the creator allows us to see the nearly fully formed fetus.

The legs look strong and healthy.

The heart is growing and looks like it will be a real pumper.

I am anxiously awaiting the day of birth. It's been a long time since there was life in the old girl.

Goo? Don't you know what goo is? I build motors with red goo! I put gaskets in with goo. Man, you can't build a motor without goo!

Wrench is a thing you turn winches with....

No, this is my work. I don't think Bill would disassemble an alternator and sand it down, of an Air conditioner compressor, or the oil filter housing, or the suspension. I may take longer but you can take your car to a show and win or take it to the track and win, your choice.

As far as cubes.... uhhhhhh... yeah, it's stock! That's the ticket, stock.

I changed my name because my computer crashed and the thing when you try and find out your password wasn't working.

Well, you guys may laugh, but I posted some pics of this thing earlier. It was a wreck. Whoever had this car before I got it did just about everything wrong. It was like they worked on it without ever having even looked at a manual or even talked with someone. It was pigassed dirty, filthy, with oil and sludge built up everywhere. Now I bring up the alternator because most people who work on these may do a small cleanup on those parts at best, but I just can't do that. Oil ad dirt were so bad on that alternator that washing, degreasing, brake cleaner, nothing cleaned it up to make it look new. My only recourse was to take it apart, blast it, sand it smooth, and make it look right. Other things like making new heat shields when putting on headers, it just makes sense to do that and never have the customer (I hate to say customer because their really my frends) come back with a problem of wires frying.

Yeah, I'm a bit **** but the guys I do work for appreciate it.

James- That is a nice finish on the alternator, and the a.c. unit. We are a little ****, aren't we? I get into things like that too, but my problem is getting the whole thing back together again Is this baby going to be thumpin' in time to take you to B.G. in the spring?

Looks awsome...how about some pics of the whole car?. It looks like it has some kind of ground effects in the pic of the rear suspension.
