I really don't know what engine pieces we would have. The air duct is all I can really think of.

Set of injector housings and a plenum would be a good start.

Looks like I was thinking to small! A CF air duct maybe cool depending on the cost. It would have to be less or equal in price to the Coplan duct for me to be interested.

Would a CF plenum really work well? I don't know how smooth the CF would be on the underside of the plenum as far as turbulance goes. Would a CF TB work also? Remove the coolent passages and go from there? How is CF for heat sink/cooling off.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. To start off with, we are looking for suggestions on carbon fiber covers to enhance the engine bay (Fuel rail, intake cover, ASR Cover, Alt /AC Cover..etc)
As far as certain functioning replacement pieces,… doable down the road.

TKO,
I don't know how much you know about the LT5, but most of what you posted is not useable by us.

kevin, the inside of the plenum isn't smooth anyways. It's rough due to the sand casting process.

We don't have a LS1, why would we want to cover up the most visual engine GM ever did?

I hear ya. Just thought there might have been something in the bay you wanted to have done.

The air duct maybe a do able piece, depending on the price/lack of colapse under WOT

take a look at the jeal carbon fiber air filter housing and inlet duct. something similar at a reasonable price would be awesome.

not sure what jeal gets for these but they are kinda pricey as are most CF parts.

other ideas would be CF drive shafts, half shafts, intake, hard core performance, we're not much into "bling"

Aren't the CF drive shafts and half shafts already in production? I can't remember where I saw them, but I was thinking the half shafts were around $750 a pair and the driveshaft about the same.

How about a carbon fiber radiator shroud? ECM cover? Both of these parts aren't very pretty and are common with other C4's. I like the CF air duct idea as well.

A good sealing CF radiator shroud will help the radiator do a better job of cooling. Also the Jeal air duct is a good idea.
