Maybe he accidently put the fronts on the back and visa-versa.

I am 99% sure I have seen this car before.
It sold at NCRS show last year. (January)

It has the wrong offset wheels on the rear. The motor is really dirty, it needed weatherstrips at the time and it had a bent up nose. When the guy told me what he paid for it (too much) I didn't have the heart to tell him but I did tell him about the rear rims.... His reply was that he was a dealer and he was just going flip it and make some $$$.

Of course I could be wrong but there aren't that many 90's around with that paint job and the rear rims being fubared.

I would guess the rear wheels have the Grand Sport offset.
There is a red ZR1 with black GS wheels running around my area and
the rear offset looks like the e-bay car.

Actually, if you look closely, it looks like he's just got 9.5" rims in the front AND BACK. Someone decided to upgrade to that style rim, but got a good buy in 9.5" all around from someone that already had them would be my guess.

Looks terrible.

But he claims to have 315s on the rear. How did he get them on 9.5s?

The badges over the brake ducts are not supposed to be there either.

I am not the smartest person when it comes to technical things and cars, but that said isn't that first gear about 3X to high. What does the car top out at 14mph in first gear?

This car is starting to smell tunaie.

I think that he was referring to the total gear multiplication in 1st gear (2.68 trans x 3.45 rear) = 9.25. His math is off by a little.
