Well in a few weeks the new C6 is going to be flying out of dealerships everywhere. The new Prince is going to be King of the Hill in the "fastest stock Corvette ever made" category. No more arguments about ZO6 vs. ZR1. "I'm quicker!", ....."Yeah, but I'm Faster!" The new kid is going to put all that bitchin' to bed.

But I still plan on sneaking up on a few of them... spanking them hard, then hauling my fat butt away before they know what hit 'em.

Long live the new King, but I hear he's got a brother we haven't seen yet, and he's been working out. It never ends.......

Not the new king, just the new kid on the block. Untill the C6 sets the same records the ZR-1 did, she's still the new kid on the block and nothing more.

You're right and there will be a lot of those little kids running around soon. I've mentioned it before but owning a ZR-1 isn't all about the power. To me, it's that along with the fact there are very few of them made. It has been a long time since Chevy produced numbers that small on any special edition car. They'll flood the market with the C6.

After reading some of the latest C-6 information it appears that a lightly modded ZR-1 will stay up with the newest edition...

As far as flooding the market... it is all good... Our cars still get respect in the minds of many... and... Iam still enjoying my Z to the upmost... so... as others have said... we have a new kid on the block...

Enjoy it for what it is...

So Be It…it is hard to beat technology …but class has to be earned. There will never be another Vette like the ZR-1

Well, I don't think the King will ever really lose its title. I mean once a Legend, always a Legend nothing can ever change that!

The ZR-1 went down in history as the "King of The Hill" and was nicked name that even before it came out. You can't change history. Long live the King!

The C6 will have to break a lot of records to achieve what the ZR-1 did in its day. Granted it will be the best Corvette ever built, but it has a lot of compitition that is already ahead of it.

I agree with 90 Corvette ZR1, the ZR1 will always be the King, because with out it and its accompishments the C6 would not be the car it is.

and not saying I don't like the C5 or other Corvette owners but, but the ZR1 is a unique brother hood. Someday I hope to join it.
