Are there any car hang out spots in Long Island other than Captree on Sunday Morning? The weather here in Long Island is turning fantastic and I was wondering is there a place during the week to go and show off your car.

Bald Hill is big, about 1,000 - 1,200 cars in the summer.

I thought there was a night in Baldwin, by the train station.

A group used to be at the OBI on Sunday mornings. OBI is gone, but the parking lot was still there last time I passed by. I plan to call you so we and John can get together. Perhaps we can get together with the rest of you guys that have posted here. I can also email some of the LT5 Registry people listed in our area.

It would be great if we can arrange for all of us to meet at some point. The only places that I currently know as car gathering places, are:
Bald Hill, Ocean Side and Captree
Mike had an excellent idea to email all the ZR1 owners in our area to see if we can get more people. I'll email also Ray who is the LT5 Registry's NY State Director.

That would be great count me in. Because I work late Bald hill is to Far for me to go on a week day. John you mentioned Oceanside, where in Oceanside that is not far from where I am. Do you have more info on the specific location?

Last year was on wednesday nights, on the parking lots after Nathans if I remember correctly (you can't miss it). I went there 2-3 times.
