Can any one assist me with information on procedure to remove engine from car and start up procedure on new engine, are there any manuals etc for this.

Yeah each year car has a service manual which goes over all the ins and outs of working on our cars, I also have the GM training videos on VHS tape for working on the LT5's it goes over removal, and complete break down of the motor! Im me if your interested in a copy

Check in the http://www.zr1.net , under the "how to" section, there is an article from Jim Milstead about step by step engine removal. I followed this one and it is fairly easy, just take your time.
