You need to bring that ZR1 to the Viper Corvette Shootout this Sunday at BMS. I'll be there to support Kurt, are you going?

Quote:Im not criticizing at all, as the results are great looking for sure. Picture one shows lettering straight (recessed) while picture three looks like lettering has a slight arch. It might be an optical ilussion.
It's not an optical illusion Mike I have the same set-up on my car.Picture one
does have the straight lettering and it's the inside of the caliper that your looking at while the outside of the calpier has curved lettering.

I may go but I probably won't bring the Z. I'll bring the 93.

Yeah you are right now that I think of it, I must have taken the inside of the caliper by mistake.

LOOKS GREAT ARE THEY 4 PISTON CALIPERS , DID YOU DO ANY PRE TESTS WITH CONSTANT HIGH SPEED STOPS TO TEST THE DIFFERENCE.
I AM MAKING MY OWN ROTORS AND CALIPERS 32MM VENTED ROTORS WITH
NC MACHINED BILLET ALUMINIUM CALIPERS FITTED WITH BENDIX ULTIMATE DB 1355 PADS, I AM GOING TO FIT A 10 MM SPACER PAD AT THE STUB AXELS TO GIVE ENOUGH OFFSET CLEARANCE.
GREAT LOOKING ZR1, WHAT SORT OF COST DID THEY SET YOU BACK.

They stop on a dime and are quiet.
The front Kit costs is $2,200, then I had to buy the front hubs which was another $400.00 (GM) and the rear calipers and rotors were probably $500 plus new front racing pads which was $100+ so It's about a $3,000 package.
I bought the DRM for $1650 Used though so I saved alittle $$$.
Good luck on your brake upgrade
