Interesting, but any car I saw in SCCA ran 3" pipe to the rear. I don't need headers, but would be interested where they came from if they came from a road course car.

They are equal length, but not the only set known to exist. I know that FastLane's car has equal length headers. There are probably more around. I wish I had equal length SS headers on my car. Alspaugh, buy these and start selling copies!

Since this item can't be shown on ebay... what is the bid price up to ?
Keep getting the ebay run around...

BTW... I have a brand new set of Stainless Works headers ready to go... already hot coated... brand new, never installed, still in the box... my car came with headers... so... I don't need em...
price... $1300 and I pay the shipping... UPS ground... inside the US...

Well:

Those are the same set that LPE had for sale a couple years ago. The seller is Chris Rineheart(sp). The primaries are too long to make them fit on a production car and exhaust without serious modification. I've discussed the option of mass producing these(used loosely of course;)) and the conclusion was, while it might be possible to get them to fit, the interest in the fab work necessary isn't there.. It's just not too realistic to expect a shop to bite on a low production set of headers like these. C5s, F-bodies, new GTOs, that's where the interest is..

I had my headers custom built and are equal length. 1-3/4'' primaries, 34'' long into a 3'' collector that goes on for about 12 inches. Also had to have the flanges custom made and are about 3/4 inch thick. Extremely well built, but took a month.

In hindsight, I am not so sure it was worth it, as I payed a pretty penny to have them built... $2600 for the headers and exhaust, not including the jet coating. It got expensive real quick. Car sounds great though.
