VATS...what a pain in the...

Not quite a KOTH question, but you guys are the best around... My '90 Z VATS keeps going off in cold weather. I am 95% sure it has to do with the door(s) and the insulation around them. I have a similar issue when I drive with my windows down. The good ole' dome light seems to flicker a bit, until I SLAM my door with the windoe down, or roll my window up. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.

Could be door ajar sensors or key lock sensors.

If you know it is the drivers door that is the problem, look at the light switch on the door and in the center is a little button. Take a knife and slowly work/pull it out some. It has serrated edges on it and will pull out quite a bit. This gets pushed in over time and acts like the door is not completely closed. Check the other door as well.
