I have done it many times, seems to happen no matter how careful I am. Best thing to do it try to catch the curb at an angle.

It happens to all of us... Over time, you will get used to taking inclines and dips on angles... just take them slow, and let the people behing you wait... :yesnod:

A little bit of scaping is ok. its just the plastic spoiler
but when I see a drive that is going to hit me good I take it at an angle and go real slow.

Wait until you lower the Z. Then it is even more of a challenge getting in and out of drives.

On my last 91, I installed a one piece spoiler, I think it was called M-1. This spiler is more substantial and had a lip on the bottom. On front edge, I installed a medium size round head bolt secured with a nut. This bolt took the brunt of scraping and kept the scratching away from the spoiler.

From the pictures of your car it was a little hard to tell, but it looked like you have an aftermarket spoiler on the front of your car. It looks to be the same as the one I just purchased from forum member fastzr1 (Thanks Ed  ) . It is definitely lower than the stock plastic one. But it seems to be very durable. Just be careful out there. If it is that spoiler they are hard to come by these days.

I hate when mine scrapes - it is rare now - always take the steep corners on an angle, and very slowly. It is time to replace my air dam - it is bent from the previous owner scraping it!!!
