I assume you're :jester iing about hardly being able to tell it's not a ZR-1.
It takes quite a bit more than a dash plaque to clone a ZR-1. :rolleyes:

Other than the dash plate (Which a ZR-1 didn't have from the factory), how is this car a ZR-1 clone?

This is the responce I got:
The car is a clone of Nicholas Cage's 1992 ZR1.
If you have any question's you can call the number on the AD. Ask for Dom.
He can give much more info about the car. I placed this ad for a friend.

ZR1 badges and embroidered floor mats on non ZR1 is a disgrace and certainly doesn't make it a clone. Key question is, if a buyer thinks and believes that car is transformed to ZR1, do they deserve to get ripped off?

I really wish they only sold ZR-1 stuff to those who are registered owners with a VIN to produce - this crap makes me sick. The worst part is some silly Viper owner is race this car and think that they just laid the smack down on a Z. Silly vipers!!! :D

I too built a GS Clone...but at least I started on an arctic white 1996 with 6 spd and the LT4. The GS is more than just paint...but maybe you just don't get it.
I'm not trying to knock your car. I think it's well done, and it's nice that you've got some power to back it up. But if you've got LT4 badges on the car, it'd be pretty stupid, wouldn't it??? That's what this ZR1 "clone" has. That's it. He put badges on a car and wants to call it a ZR1...
Anyway, I don't see why you feel the need to come to this board and stir up crap just because you don't like what one or two of us said when you got your car damaged by your buddy...in my opinion, it's your own stupid fault.

The 84 dash gives your car away easily as a fake...
