Posted this in the C4 but didn't get to many replies. Anyone have a thought about the noise I am hearing. It would be greatly appreciated. Its an auto and has had a little knock for around 5 years just never got around to dealing with it. On my 87 when the engine is started cold or warm you can hear knock. It sounds like it is coming from the back of the engine, it completely goes away with any increase in rpm and when you shut it off it kind of clunks. The oil pressure is 70psi cold and 55psi warm I dont think its a rod but not sure. Will a flexplate cause this noise and if so how involved is it to replace. TIA
