Posting for a friend, as I have broke a stock plastic one autocrossing myself.
The stock GM gas pedal support for the C-4 is made from molded plastic, as
any autocrosser or road racer can tell you these supports break, and when
the support breaks you are done for the day.
We have designed a new gas pedal support, fabricated from aluminum, before
we order a production run we are asking anyone interested in obtaining one
to let me know via private e-mail. If we can get enough orders we will be
able to offer these at $50.00 plus $6.00 shipping.
These supports will be CNC machined from 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum,
installation will be about 30 minutes using simple hand tools.
