although 150k is a pretty price this car is cheaper than the other c4 TT LT5
we saw at carlisle and is truely unique. the car would be unbelievable.

someday I hope to step up to a twin turbo zr1 but I have a stroker LPE engine in mind right now instead. a bit more affordable and probably well beyond what I can use on the street.

Meaney of dfi built a 1300 HP twin turbo c4 that runs right with the twin turbo LT5 cars. these cars make WAY more power than you can hope to hook up except at very high speeds.

a trip to 250 would be unreal. thanks for all the links, way cool cars. :cheers:

I knew you were pissed that you didn't have 368 cids under the hood - this is definitely the best way to solve that disappointing feeling - now you've got 600 hp under the hood!!! Yes, the new LSV 95 ZR1 is home safe, sorry for the delay in posting. Larry and Phil were GREAT in helping me with details about the car, showing me Phil's amazing car collection, and stopping by to say hello at the Vette Doctor's.

This car is a keeper and I feel VERY lucky to own a significant piece of ZR1 history and a super nice car. let me tell you guys, Larry and Phil have some of the nicest cars I have ever seen and are super nice folks. getting out of NY proved to be a true test of the LSV 400 LT5 street manners (which by the way are GREAT!!!). car never missed a beat even after being stuck in the rain (bummer) and inching along in traffic for 2+ hours. can't say they didn't warn me!!!

larry also took me for a ride which will not soon be forgotten. car has amazing pull and runs without any compromises or drama. it just pulls like god is reeling you in!!! this car has some serious oats under the hood and will satisfy my thirst for ZR1 power for quite some time. but even more importantly to me, the cars driveability and street manners are excellent for the power level. the specs on the car were tailored to provide a really high performance street machine and the work and care that went into the car really show.

what a machine. details and pics to follow!!!!

FYI,

I will be selling my 93 LPE 475 to help pay off the 95 ZR1.

It's not a 368 as I had hoped, but a super nice car that runs very strong. details are in the C4 for sale if anyone is interested. Many folks saw this car in BG and can attest to condition/performance. dyno numbers are a bit low but the car is running pretty rich and has more power to be had with a better chip tune.

for now, it's really nice having 3 vettes again!! (2 ZR1s and the 94 LT1 Auto).

Congrats on your new purchase. That is a nice car. You can talk to Graham to confirm, but I believe the car was originally a 385 engine and Larry spun a bearing. Putting it back together neccesitated some boring and resulted in a 398. It should make your other LPE car seem very anemic!

that's very interesting!!! Yes, I will be keeping the CCW wheels. I like the look and will be selling the 93 with the original saw blade wheels (which also look good IMHO).

I will ask larry about the spun bearing. I would think you would need a bit more stroke to go from a 385 to a 398 so the crank must have been changed too.

in any event, it's a really nice car and I'm excited about it!!!

Two Lpe cars from long island went back to LPE # 1 Don Betterbed's 94 385-broken camshaft, #2 Jack Herrick's 415- spun bearing. Larry's car never had a problem.
