Definitely a very nice car for the money! It won't take a ton to make the car super super nice and it will be incredible when it's finished!

Wow Interesting? There are a lot of Z trading hands right now. I don't understand it but find all the sales interesting. Twenty years from now we all are going to be saying why didn't I buy them when.... I have had two and love the one I have now but yours is interesting!

That said price and condition on high mileage is everything. What is the VIN. How long have you had the Z? What history and documentation do you have on it? Whos cams? What grind? Any dyne sheets? Most of the intake paints only I have seen have been top end work only. Was the engine out and bottom end rebuilt? Any videos of how it idles? How does it run? Normal stuff like injectors and fuel pump I assume has been replaced in the build? Is the radio missing? What's going on with the passenger carpet on the dash? Why is the hood in need of paint but not the roof and rear? What do you mean by mostly new interior, it looks like the seats have been recovered but I don't see what else.

Will someone please buy this nice man's Zr-1. I don't know Vette Daddy (even though we are both Indiana guys). I don't need another car in the garage, but I keep thinking about this Z as a stripped down to nothing track car. Maybe list it on a HPDE forum. I can't see how it doesn't fly away at $15K. What is the floor on a ZR-1. Really $10K for the engine (including IDM, computer and harness), $1500 for headers, $1000 for the exhaust, $1500 for transmission, $1000 for rear end, and then there is the rest of the car. Yes it has 160K miles, need paint ,and interior work but what is the bottom dollar for a Z? I wish I was a buyer but unfortunately you can save them all! Good luck Vette Daddy with selling this car.

Do you have a video of it idling? I would love to hear it idle and rev!
