Detailed the 40th Anny Zr1, time to cruise
My 93 40th anniversary ZR1 just turned 16k miles. The provious owner never drove it, only to shows. I have put almost 2k miles on it this year since I bought it and it looks and drives as new and it flawless. Outside of fluids and belts when I bought it I replaced the rear FX3 shocks with new ones so even that works as new
It is just a nice time capsule of I car and my son and I love driving it. I asked him today if he wanted to take the Zr1 or the McLaren to his basketball touney and he said the ZR1. That’s how you knw you raised a car guy lol
These cars truly are special. Everytime I think about selling it, I wash it and drive it and that idea goes out the door 😊

Those seats are GORGEOUS! it is hard to put a finger on it............there are faster cars, there are more comfortable cars, etc.........but something about these ZR-1s just makes it a pleasure to pilot.......my son is in his late 20s, and I can't keep him out of it......

That's a beautiful Ruby Z I wanted a Ruby when I was looking 7 years ago, but the cheapest one I could find was like 30k or something....And in 2015-2016 that was WAY too rich for my blood. I should of taken a 2nd mortgage and done it, cause now forget about it..... I settled on my '91Z and love it but still crave a Ruby

I paid $39k for it a little over a year ago. Who knows what the market really is these days and perhaps i overpaid a tad but it is MINT and came with EVERTHING from the factory down to the window sticker and a cassette of music that came with it new

Sounds like a good price to me! What was the number of ruby ZR-1s? 244 I think total? You didn’t overpay if you got exactly what you wanted. If a literal pile of rotting fiberglass pieces on a pallet that used to be a C2 can sell for thousands, a lowly ZR-1 in excellent condition can fetch that amount.

That is stunning…TIL they made 40AE ZR-1s!
