Were A-molds offered as a factory option on the 1990 ZR1?

Nope They came out for model year 1994, originals were cast in japan and have JWL casting showing their manufacture.

additionally, the reproductions are heavier than the originals. you can normally spot them because they have a squared off spoke design as it reaches the wheel lip.;
