Default 1995 Lingenfelter TT or 415?

Been thinking of looking into picking one of these cars up. Anyone know how much they go for and if anyone is willing to sell one?

thank you
john

Build your own. Pete Polatsidis has closed deck blocks (vs the original open deck) for both 391 cid and 441 cid. I did his 391 cid with stage 2 cams and full porting and makes 600HP, all for around $15K installed. Contrast that with the Lingenfelter 415 rated at 610HP for $30K. You could find a nice stock ZR-1 and get one of his motors way easier than finding either a TT or 415 already done, plus you'll be getting a fresh motor instead of one done years/decades ago. Now if you want the Lingenfelter to have a Lingenfelter, then that's a whole different story.

I would say build your own. Hell if money is no object than have Lingenfelter build you a turbo car. I think Graham Behan said it was around 50+K and you could have north of 900 H.P. . From his last talk at the C4 Gathering in 2019.

I don't think Lingenfelter is building C4 LT5 engines any longer, but I do know where you can go to have a Twin Turbo or a 415 NA C4 ZR-1 built, by a guy who knows all about it.

Pete can do either a 391 or 441 to support whatever you want (nitrous, turbos, NA, etc). Being closed deck block, it will be stronger for supporting forced induction. You could also talk to Steve at Crossed Flags outside Houston, I know he's got a line on how to do a turbo setup for the LT5. I think Pete was estimating around 700HP from his 441 naturally. Honestly to me, 600-650HP is about the limit of what you can use on the street (speaking from experience having had an 800HP C6 GS). But if you really wanted more, I'd probably do a closed deck 391 from Pete with low compression and then do a twin turbo setup on it and run all the boost.

Pretty sure you're correct. It's still listed on their website, but I would bet they don't actually do them anymore.

I'm surprised that nobody has mentioned Marc Haibec.
He'll build you whatever your checkbook will allow.
And it'll last.
No..Ooops, the head gasket has blown, or Oooops the injector housing is weeping coolant, or Ooops, the Plenum isn't quite match ported to the injector housing and leaking.
You might not be buying a "Name" a.k.a. "Lingenfelter or Calloway" (although to be sure Haibec is THE name in LT5 history), but you will be buying something that you'll be proud of and that will last the test of time.
Your $$$ though, just remember.....

I thought this was going to be a one or both question. The answer is BOTH.... YES will work in a pinch. GC

EBay says the car is no longer available...If you click on it you do see the car and all its modifications.....$31,999 if its still available ...I believe a few months ago the car was advertised for closer to 35K...
415cc LT5 has to be unreal....Not many, maybe a handful were built to this spec..

It was for sale here and still shows on their website. FYI, I have no relation to this car.

I have a 91 with 520 HP....Blk/blk....Too bad he was not closer to me ( I'm in NY ) ....If I could sell mine I would consider that....Tough sell now since a lot of DMV's are closed now....I think some are hesitant to pull the trigger if there employment status is affected by the situation..

I was researching this car i thought the 415 would be really awesome to motor around in but somebody here warned me about "jeal cams" something about they are made out of silly putty or something like that.

All Jeal cams were not bad. There were some that did not get heat treated properly, unbeknownst to Jeal.

The car at Blackdog is listed as sold now. Anybody here get their hands on it? I really wanted it, but just couldn't pull the trigger for some reason!

A 415 cu inch ZR-1 is super rare....If a 391 build cost 15-17 grand than I could imagine how much a 415 build would cost....
Car had super low miles, great paint and a nice suspension set up....Wonder if they let it go for less than 30 grand.....That car has been available for awhile...
